Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason lives 1986 is the sixth installment in the Friday the 13th slasher series. The film picks up with Tommy Jarvis (Thom Matthews), who, still haunted by his past encounters with Jason Voorhees, decides to ensure the infamous killer is truly dead.

In an attempt to cremate Jason’s body, Tommy accidentally resurrects him by stabbing the corpse with a metal rod during a storm. Jason is brought back to life, stronger and more relentless than ever, and begins a new killing spree in the nearby Camp Crystal Lake area. As the body count rises, Tommy and a group of others must try to stop Jason once and for all. The film is notable for injecting more humor and self-awareness into the series, while also featuring an undead Jason as the unstoppable killer.
