Into the Storm is a heart-pounding disaster thriller that plunges audiences into the chaos and devastation of a series of massive tornadoes. Directed by Steven Quale, the film offers a found-footage style narrative that follows multiple perspectives during a single day of unprecedented storms in the town of Silverton.
The story centers on Gary Morris (Richard Armitage), a high school vice principal and widowed father, who becomes desperate to find his son, Donnie (Max Deacon), trapped in an abandoned paper mill with a classmate during the storm. Meanwhile, a team of storm chasers, led by the determined Allison Stone (Sarah Wayne Callies) and the ambitious Pete Moore (Matt Walsh), is documenting the storms for a documentary.
