The Great Battle (2018)

The Great Battle is a South Korean historical epic directed by Kim Kwang-sik. The film is set in 645 AD and tells the story of the legendary Siege of Ansi Fortress, where General Yang Man-chun (played by Zo In-sung) and his small army of 5,000 soldiers defended the fortress against a massive Tang dynasty force of 200,000 troops.

The movie captures the courage, strategy, and resilience of the Goguryeo warriors as they fight against overwhelming odds. With stunning battle sequences, emotional depth, and a strong ensemble cast, including Nam Joo-hyuk as Sa-mul and Park Sung-woong as Li Shimin, the film brings this historical event to life.
