The film follows Detective Frank Adverse (Bruce Willis), a weary and disillusioned police officer working in a decaying urban metropolis plagued by corruption, gang violence, and systemic failure. When Adverse uncovers a conspiracy linking high-ranking officials to a powerful drug cartel, he finds himself caught in a deadly game where trust is rare and betrayal is the norm.
