Wicked Minds (2003)

Wicked Minds (2003) – A Twisty, Seductive Thriller of Betrayal and Murder

Genre: Drama / Thriller
Director: Jason Hreno
Starring: Angie Everhart, Andrew W. Walker, Winston Rekert, Amy Sloan

Wicked Minds follows Holden Price (Andrew W. Walker), a freshly graduated Harvard student who returns home to reconnect with his estranged father. He’s stunned to discover his dad has married Lana (Angie Everhart), a glamorous woman half his age. Drawn into her orbit, Holden embarks on a reckless affair that soon spirals into blackmail, suspicion, and deadly consequences.

When his father is found murdered, Holden becomes the prime suspect. As police close in, he must untangle a web of lies—between Lana’s hidden motives, the truth about his family’s past, and the scheming friend who lurks just out of sight. Each revelation raises the stakes, and innocence proves harder to claim than crime.

The film leans into its pulpy roots with steamy seductions, sharp-edged dialogue, and a taut sense of paranoia. Angie Everhart brings a commanding mix of allure and danger as Lana, while Andrew W. Walker grounds the story with a sympathetic turn as the desperate son fighting to clear his name. Winston Rekert adds depth as the police detective who senses there’s more to this case than meets the eye.

Although Wicked Minds didn’t set the critics alight, its blend of erotic tension and murder mystery makes it a guilty pleasure for fans of early-2000s thrillers. If you enjoy dark twists, forbidden desire, and the question of who to trust, this one’s for you.
