Netflix Reveals First Poster for The Old Guard
Ahead of the release of the first trailer for The Old Guard, Netflix has first launched an official poster for the film starring Charlize Theron. In addition to showing the cast of the film that focuses on the character played by Theron, this poster also reaffirms the release date of this film which falls on July 10, 2020. One more thing is that the trailer will be launched by Netflix in the near future.
The Old Guard stars Charlize Theron (Monster, Mad Max: Fury Road) as Andromache of Scythia, Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave, Doctor Strange) as Copley, Marwan Kenzari (Aladdin) as Yusuf Al-Kaysani, Kiki Layne (If Beale Street Could Talk) as Niles Freeman, Matthias Schoenaerts (Red Sparrow) as Sebastian le Livre, Luca Marinelli (Trust) as Nicolo di Genova, Harry Melling (The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs) as Merrick and Veronica Ngo (Bright).
Theron plays a formidable warrior named Andromache of Scythia. She was born thousands of years ago, and has died hundreds of times — only to rise and fight again and again and again. She hides from the world but is unafraid to face its darker corners, weaving in and out of history and mythology. Her name literally means “warrior of men.”

The Old Guard is adapted from the comic book created by Greg Rucka and artist Leandro Fernandez, telling the story of soldiers who never die. Trapped in eternity without explanation, Andromache of Scythia “Andy” and her colleagues then become mercenaries. But in the 21st century, immortality is a secret that is hard to keep, and when you live long enough, you learn that there are many fates worse than death.
While in the film, this film will tell the story of a small group of mercenaries, led by a woman named Andy (Theron), who is immortal and has worked as a mercenary for centuries. The group gets a little surprise when they discover the existence of a new immortal human, a black woman who is a member of the Marines, at the same time an evil organization knows about their “immortality” and wants to take advantage of it.
