The lone holdout juror at Lindsay Clancy’s triple murder trial said there were “tense” moments during deliberations — but insisted he had no reasonable doubt of her guilt.
Michael Desronvil, 48, denied other jurors’ claims that he had reasonable doubt but still refused to find the mom not criminally responsible for strangling her three young kids with exercise bands.
Desronvil answered “No” when asked by Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany if he had reasonable doubt.

“…I had a lot of evidence to back up my claim but because out of respect of the other jurors and the court system I will put that to sleep for now until you know they go through the process of the court system,” he said.
Desronvil said a large factor in his decision was how “methodical” Clancy was in 𝘬iᩚlling the children.
“How methodical I thought Lindsay was in the exє𝔠uti☉n of the children — that was really big for me,” he told McEnany in another clip posted on Wednesday afternoon.
“From watching the video and also listening in the courtroom the thought process that goes behind and to fulfill the commitment of doing that — I thought it was logical.”
A new trial date has yet to be set and prosecutors still haven’t revealed whether they intend to bring the same charges of first-degree murder against Clancy, 36, for a second time.
Clancy’s lawyer, Kevin Reddington, asked the jury to find his client not guilty by reason of insanity on the grounds that she was suffering from severe postpartum psychosis and hallucinated a man’s voice telling her to 𝘬iᩚll the kids and herself.
Prosecutors, on the other hand, claimed Clancy carefully plotted and carried out the slayings of Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, on Jan. 24, 2023.
The panel of nine women and three men deliberated for seven days before a judge finally declared a mistrial after the jury sent out three notes that they were hopelessly deadlocked.
“There were moments that were tense as we were deliberating,” Desronvil explained.
Fox News’ full interview with Desronvil is set to air Thursday morning.
Some jurors spoke out publicly and claimed the other 11 members of the panel were prepared to side with Clancy and find her not guilty by reason of insanity.

Desronvil previously made a statement through his lawyers saying, “I didn’t have any doubts. As I tried to explain different possible theories during deliberation, I kept getting cut off as if I had doubts based on the evidence presented.”
“Based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presented, I thought it was enough proof that she (Clancy) knew exactly what she was doing and planned,” read his statement.
Clancy is due back in court on Nov. 2, where Judge William Sullivan may set a new trial date and where oral arguments are expected to be made on various motions, including the prosecution’s bid for a gag order.
