A Rich Woman Insulted a Mechanic—Then He Bought Her Father’s Company

PART 1: THE MECHANIC SHE HUMILIATED

“Don’t touch my car with those filthy hands! Do you even know how much it costs?”

The wealthy woman screamed in front of everyone at the garage.

I stood silently, holding a wrench.

My clothes were covered in grease.

She laughed at my appearance.

But she didn’t know one thing.

I was the billionaire investor about to buy her father’s company.

My name is Daniel Harrison. I’m 45 years old.

I own several automotive businesses across America.

But I started my career as a mechanic.

Every month, I visit one of my garages and work alongside my employees.

It reminds me where I came from.

That morning, a red Ferrari pulled into our garage.

A beautiful woman stepped out wearing designer clothes and expensive jewelry.

Her name was Victoria Collins.

“My car is making a strange noise,” she demanded.

I smiled politely.

“Let me take a look.”

She stared at my dirty uniform.

“Seriously? YOU?”

“Yes, ma’am.”

She laughed.

“I need a real professional, not some uneducated grease monkey!”

My employees went silent.

I remained calm.

“Ma’am, I’ve been repairing cars for twenty-five years.”

She rolled her eyes.

“Then why are you still working in a garage?”

I examined her Ferrari and discovered a loose component.

Within fifteen minutes, the problem was fixed.

“All done,” I said.

Victoria inspected the car.

“How much?”

“Nothing. It was a simple repair.”

She smirked.

“Good. At least you know your work isn’t worth much.”

Then she threw a twenty-dollar bill onto the floor.

“Buy yourself some clean clothes.”

My employees stared in disbelief.

I picked up the money and placed it on the counter.

“Have a nice day, Miss Collins.”

She drove away laughing.

That afternoon, my attorney called.

“Daniel, the acquisition of Collins Automotive is ready for final approval.”

I paused.

“Collins Automotive?”

“Yes. Richard Collins’s company. The purchase price is $180 million.”

I suddenly remembered Victoria’s last name.

“Does Richard Collins have a daughter named Victoria?”

“Yes. Why?”

I smiled.

“No reason. Schedule the signing for tomorrow.”

The next morning, I entered Collins Automotive headquarters wearing a navy suit.

Richard Collins greeted me warmly.

“Mr. Harrison! It’s an honor to meet you.”

Then Victoria walked into the conference room.

She froze.

“YOU?!”

I smiled.

“Good morning, Victoria.”

Her father frowned.

“You two know each other?”

Victoria laughed nervously.

“Dad, he’s just a mechanic!”

Richard’s face turned pale.

“Victoria, this man is the investor buying our company.”

The room fell silent.

She stared at me.

“That’s impossible!”

I calmly placed the acquisition agreement on the table.

“Yesterday, you told me my work wasn’t worth twenty dollars.”

She lowered her eyes.

“Mr. Harrison, I didn’t know—”

“That I had money?”

She said nothing.

Before Richard could apologize, my attorney handed me another folder.

“Daniel, we’ve discovered something concerning during due diligence.”

I frowned.

“What is it?”

“Someone transferred $12 million from Collins Automotive into a private account.”

Richard looked shocked.

“Who?”

My attorney turned toward Victoria.

“The account belongs to your daughter’s fiancé.”

Victoria’s face went white.

Then my attorney added:

“And the transfer documents carry Victoria’s signature.”

I slowly looked at her.

“Victoria, I think we need to talk.”

But she suddenly whispered:

“My fiancé told me you would never find out.”
