California dad kills wife’s lover after finding him in bed with her — and their kids: DA

A California husband allegedly killed his wife’s lover in a fit of rage after he came home early from work and found the man in his underwear with her in bed — alongside their two young children.

Ismael Pinedalopez, 34, is accused of fatally stabbing Nicholas Garcia, 28, “multiple times” with a pocketknife in the bedroom of his Anaheim home on Oct. 24, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office

The couple’s children, a 2-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son, were in the bed during the attack, prosecutors said.

Garcia died at the scene from his wounds.

Pinedalopez’s wife and kids were not harmed.

“Violence is never the answer, and it is truly heartbreaking that these young children had to witness their father commit such a horrific act of brutality in their own home,” District Attorney Todd Spitzer said.

Pinedalopez was arrested at the scene and charged with one felony count of murder and a felony enhancement for personal use of a w𝔢𝔞𝔭𝔬η.

He was arraigned Tuesday and faces up to 26 years to life in prison if he’s convicted on all charges.

This isn’t the first case of suspected infidelity turning diᩚadℓy in California this year.

Former Glendale firefighter Andrew Jimenez allegedly killed his wife, Mayra Lopez Jimenez, with an ax at their North Hollywood home in January after he suspected she was cheating on him.

Jimenez’s lawyer claimed investigators discovered a “diary” that showed she had been unfaithful.

“Our office is currently in contact with law enforcement regarding a diary of the decedent, apparently read moments before the homicide, that verified infidelity by the decedent,” attorney Jose Romero previously told The Post.

Investigators believe Lopez Jimenez was struck repeatedly with the ax.

Jimenez was charged with one count of murder with an allegation of using an ax as a diᩚadℓy w𝔢𝔞𝔭𝔬η, and faces 26 years to life in state prison if convicted.
