Thomas Markle’s granddaughter said that the child-porn allegations against him are not a surprise because there was always “something off” with him.
“It doesn’t surprise me,” Meghan Markle’s niece Noelle Rasmussen told the Telegraph Tuesday, five days after it emerged that her 82-year-old grandfather was being investigated over a disturbing trove of porn.
“The more and more I think about it… it just doesn’t. I don’t know why it’s not a surprise,” said Rasmussen, whose mother, Samantha Markle, is the duchess’s half-sister.

“Maybe it was a vibe that I subconsciously got… something’s not right about a person, and you don’t actively register it. But your body tells you when something’s off,” she said of her few interactions with Markle.
Rasmussen stressed that she was never molested by her grandpa — but is tormented by the fear that others could have been.
“I’m glad that I had never been victimized or had the chance to be victimized,” she told the Telegraph from her home in New Mexico.
“I don’t think he would attack family, but when you do not know what somebody’s capable of, you can’t assume.”
For this reason, she said, she “100% backs” her aunt Meghan Markle’s decision to keep her young kids away from their now-accused granddad.

“I support her decision to prevent her kids from seeing him,” she said of Archie and Lilibet, Meghan’s kids with Prince Harry.
“I wouldn’t want my kids around somebody who was being accused of child molestation,” she said.
She was equally disturbed by allegations that a letter earlier warning about her grandpa was lost by UK cops — and never forwarded to the FBI to investigate Meghan’s US-based dad.

“It blows my mind,” Rasmussen said of the apparent police failure to handle the letter written in 2019 by Thomas Markle’s ex-wife, Roslyn Loveless.
“That is a failure on the police’s part…that is such a failure of the system. It’s embarrassing,” she said.
Rasmussen said her grandmother, who died in 2024, would’ve been furious if she knew the letter hadn’t been handed over to US authorities.

What Loveless wrote is “more than likely what she had seen to be the truth or what she had experienced,” Rasmussen said.
“She [Loveless] just spoke the truth, no matter how ugly it was, and if she thought something was ugly, she would absolutely make a scene of it,” Rasmussen said.
Thomas Markle vehemently denies the allegations -– branding them “sick lies.”
The FBI is gearing up to help Filipino police try to identify children in the trove, according to the Sun.
The FBI has “expressed their readiness to extend assistance,” according to Philippine National Police’s Colonel Allen Rae Co, with insiders claiming a special agent who has previously busted child 𝘴єx 𝘢bu𝘴e rings will lead any potential investigation.
