Long Island serial perv busted for fifth lewd act — but he’s already back on streets

He won’t stop being a jerk!

A serial perv who keeps groping himself in front of women but then gets cut loose due to New York state’s bail laws was arrested for the same sick crime — and then released again.

Nicholas Critelli, 20, was arrested yet again this week after a woman identified him from a February incident where he allegedly drove up to her in an AMC movie theater parking lot in Stony Brook just before 10:30 a.m., made eye contact with her, and then began profusely masturbating, police said.

“This is now [Critelli’s] fifth criminal case alleging deplorable behavior against women who are simply going about their day,” Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney said.

“How many more victims must come forward before State lawmakers realize that our bail laws are completely failing law abiding citizens?” he added.

The unidentified woman recognized Critelli from news reports of his recent string of arrests for his sick, repeated behavior and went to police to identify him as the culprit in her case, law enforcement officials said.

Critelli had previously targeted two women in Sayville store parking lots in June.

He was released on misdemeanor public-lewdness charges, then allegedly struck twice more this month in Walmart and Target lots in Centereach and Commack, authorities said.

He was arrested a second time and again cut loose but this time on supervised release.

Critelli is now back on the streets after his third arrest, officials said Tuesday.

“Case after case shows the same pattern: My office is not allowed to ask for bail despite the seriousness of the alleged crimes and the documented repeated behavior,” Tierney said, calling bail reform a failure.

Investigators believe there could be even more victims and are urging anyone with information to call Suffolk police.

Critelli, who is being repped by the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County, has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is due back in court Nov. 4.
