Deputies responded to the residence on Bud Arthur Bridge Road shortly after 2:30 p.m. on September 26, 2026, following a welfare check. They found the children, ages 3 and 6, alone and suffering from serious injuries. Authorities said the children were taken to the hospital and later placed in protective custody.
