A devastating aviation tᩚraɢedy in South Florida has left nine families grieving after a Learjet 60 crashed near Greenacres in Palm Beach County on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
All nine people aboard the aircraft were killed when the jet went down in a residential area, ending the lives of two pilots and seven passengers.
As more details emerged, families and loved ones began sharing the identities of those who were aboard the flight.
They included a 20-year-old co-pilot who had pursued her dream of flying since childhood, a 55-year-old captain, a Texas technology entrepreneur, his wife and their two young children, the family’s nanny, and two close friends.
Behind the headlines were nine individuals with their own dreams, relationships, memories and people waiting for them.
Today, we remember each of them.
JEFF GREGORY, 55 — THE CAPTAIN
Jeff Gregory, 55, was the captain of the Learjet 60.
He was among the two crew members aboard the aircraft as it traveled from Austin, Texas, toward the Bahamas.
East Coast Jets confirmed his dєatᩚh in a statement expressing sadness over the loss of the captain, who had previously worked with the company in 2016 and 2017 before pursuing other opportunities.
While much about his personal life has not yet been publicly shared, Gregory was remembered by the aviation community as one of the professionals lost in the tᩚraɢedy.
His family and loved ones are now among those facing the painful aftermath of the 𝔠r𝘢sh.
NATHALIA GADELHA FILGUEIRAS, 20 — A YOUNG PILOT WHO HAD ALREADY ACHIEVED HER DREAM
At just 20 years old, Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras had already accomplished something many people only dream of.
She earned her pilot’s license at 17 while still in high school in Florida, before she was old enough to obtain a regular driver’s license.
Her passion for aviation had shaped her ambitions from an early age.
By the time of the 𝔠r𝘢sh, she had reportedly accumulated approximately 1,300 flight hours and had been working as a commercial pilot for several months.
Nathalia was serving as the co-pilot aboard the Learjet.
One of the most heartbreaking details to emerge after the accident was a message she reportedly sent to her boyfriend shortly before the aircraft crashed.
She described the conditions she was experiencing, mentioning turbulence and ice.
Her family later spoke about how proud they were of her determination and her commitment to the career she loved.
For those who knew Nathalia, her life represented a young woman who had worked hard to turn a childhood dream into reality.
She was expected to celebrate her 21st birthday in January 2027.
Instead, her promising future was cut short.
ADAM ROBINSON, 44 — A TECHNOLOGY ENTREPRENEUR AND DEVOTED FATHER
Adam Robinson, 44, was a Texas technology entrepreneur whose life extended far beyond his professional achievements.
He was traveling with his wife, their two young children, their nanny and two close friends when the aircraft crashed.
Those who knew the family described Adam and Helen as devoted parents whose children were the center of their lives.
The family was reportedly traveling from Austin to the Bahamas when the tᩚraɢedy occurred.
For those left behind, Adam’s loss means not only the absence of a husband and father but also the loss of someone whose life was closely connected to the people he loved.
HELEN SHARP — A MOTHER WHOSE LIFE REVOLVED AROUND HER FAMILY
Helen Sharp was traveling alongside her husband and their two young children.
She and Adam were described by relatives as devoted parents who cherished their family.
Their joint family statement offered a glimpse into the love they shared and the importance of their children in their lives.
The couple’s journey was supposed to be a family trip.
Instead, the 𝔠r𝘢sh claimed the lives of the entire immediate family.
EMMA ROBINSON, 4 — A LITTLE GIRL WHOSE LIFE WAS JUST BEGINNING
Emma Robinson was only four years old.
Her family described her and her younger brother as the light of their parents’ lives.
At an age when children are only beginning to discover the world around them, Emma had her entire future ahead of her.
She was traveling with her parents, younger brother and nanny when the aircraft went down.
Her dєatᩚh has become one of the most heartbreaking aspects of the tᩚraɢedy.
CHARLIE ROBINSON, 2 — THE YOUNGEST MEMBER OF THE FAMILY
Charlie Robinson was just two years old.
He was the youngest member of the Robinson family and was traveling with the people who cared for him most.
His parents, Adam and Helen, were described as devoted parents who loved their children deeply.
Charlie and his older sister Emma were both lost in the 𝔠r𝘢sh.
Two young lives, filled with possibilities that will never have the chance to unfold.
ANITA MARIA CETINA — THE FAMILY’S BELOVED NANNY
Anita Maria Cetina was the nanny who cared for Emma and Charlie.
But according to the family’s statement, her relationship with the children went far beyond the responsibilities of a caregiver.
She was described as someone who cared for them with tenderness and devotion and had become a true part of the family.
The family remembered the love she brought into the children’s lives and the lasting impact of her care.
Her dєatᩚh represents another devastating loss for the people who knew and loved her.
RACHAEL REED AND CHARMI FEHR — TWO CLOSE FRIENDS
Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr were also aboard the aircraft.
The two were remembered in the family’s statement as people who shared a love of adventure and were deeply committed to one another and the life they were building.
Their presence on the flight reflected the close relationships surrounding the Robinson family.
They were not simply passengers traveling with friends. They were people whose lives were connected through shared experiences, affection and companionship.
Their families and loved ones are now mourning their loss.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LEARJET?

All nine people aboard were killed.
Federal investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are examining the circumstances surrounding the disaster.
Preliminary evidence indicates that the aircraft may have begun breaking apart before impact.
Investigators are examining weather conditions, aircraft systems, flight crew actions and the available evidence from the 𝔠r𝘢sh site.
The exact cause has not yet been determined.
NINE LIVES THAT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN
Following the tᩚraɢedy, the families released a joint statement confirming the loss of their loved ones.
They expressed gratitude to first responders, investigators and the Palm Beach County community for their support.
They also thanked everyone who had reached out with messages of love and sympathy.
The families asked for privacy as they begin the difficult process of grieving and said information about memorial services would be shared once arrangements were made.
Nine people lost their lives that Sunday.
A captain. A young co-pilot. A husband. A wife. Two little children. A devoted caregiver. Two close friends.
Each had a life beyond the aircraft, a family, a circle of friends and memories that will remain with those who loved them.
To every family affected by this tᩚraɢedy, we extend our deepest condolences.
May God bring comfort to those grieving, strength to those facing the days ahead, and peace to the hearts of everyone who loved these nine individuals.
