💔 Bronx Teen’s Final Moments Caught on Camera: Javits Frimpong, 15, Was Running for His Life on His Way to School—Now His Father Is Demanding Answers

🕊️ He came to America hoping for a brighter future. Just one year later, 15-year-old Javits Frimpong was running desperately through the streets of the Bronx, trying to escape an attacker. Surveillance footage captured his final moments, and his father’s heartbreaking revelation about alleged school bullying has raised urgent questions about what happened before the tᩚraɢedy.

NEW YORK — On Thursday morning, October 29, 2026, Javits Frimpong was on his way to school when he was fatally sh*t near East 171st Street and Third Avenue in the Claremont section of the Bronx.

Police found the teenager suffering from a serious abdominal injury shortly after 9 a.m.

He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he later pᴀssed away.

💔 A Heartbreaking Video Shows His Final Moments

Surveillance footage obtained by CBS News New York shows Javits running along a Bronx street while another person dressed in black appears to chase him.

Moments later, the teenager collapses approximately a block from where the attack occurred.

Investigators are searching for three teenagers believed to have fled the area wearing dark clothing and masks.

The disturbing footage has left residents shaken and intensified demands for answers.

😢 His Father Reveals a Troubling School Incident

Javits’ father, Thomas Frimpong, believes his son’s experience with bullying may be connected to the tᩚraɢedy.

He told reporters that his son’s school principal had contacted him days earlier about an altercation involving two students.

According to Thomas, both students were suspended following the incident.

Javits had also complained about being repeatedly bullied during lunchtime.

His father described him as quiet, intelligent, and someone who rarely got into trouble.

However, police have not established that the earlier school incident was connected to the attack.

🕊️ A Boy Who Came From Ghana With Big Dreams

Javits moved from Ghana to New York in 2025 to live with his father.

His mother remained in Ghana, thousands of miles away.

Thomas said his son was a dedicated student who dreamed of becoming a doctor.

Instead of preparing for his son’s future, the grieving father is now facing the unimaginable task of arranging his farewell.

The tᩚraɢedy also prompted efforts to help Javits’ mother travel to New York.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced that President Donald Trump had agreed to grant her a visa so she could attend her son’s funeral.

Police have not publicly identified a suspect or confirmed a motive.

Meanwhile, classmates have held vigils and demonstrations calling for justice and stronger protections against bullying and violence.

❤️ A Father’s Plea for Justice

For Thomas Frimpong, the pain is difficult to put into words.

He brought his son to America believing they could build a better future together.

Javits was supposed to attend school, make friends, and pursue his dream of becoming a doctor.

Instead, his father is left searching for answers.

A 15-year-old boy left home expecting an ordinary school day. He never returned.

As investigators continue their work, the Bronx community is remembering Javits not simply as a victim, but as a young student whose dreams and opportunities ended far too soon.

Justice for Javits. 💔🕊️
