TECH TYCOON’S HEARTBREAKING FAMILY MESSAGE RESURFACES AFTER HE, HIS WIFE AND TWO YOUNG CHILDREN DIE IN FLORIDA PLANE 𝔠r𝘢sh

Adam Robinson had once spoken about the importance of putting family before career, revealing how he deliberately changed his working habits to make more time for his wife and children. Now, his words have taken on a heartbreaking meaning after all four family members were among nine people killed in a devastating private jet 𝔠r𝘢sh in Florida.

A technology entrepreneur’s emotional message about putting family first has resurfaced following a devastating plane 𝔠r𝘢sh that claimed the lives of him, his wife and their two young children.

Adam Robinson, 45, his wife, Helen Sharp, 40, and their children, Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, were among nine people killed when a Learjet 60 crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

The family was reportedly traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when the aircraft went down near Greenacres, southwest of West Palm Beach.

The jet plunged toward a residential neighborhood before striking the ground and erupting into flames. The impact created a crater and scattered aircraft debris across the surrounding area.

All nine people aboard the aircraft lost their lives.

A HEARTBREAKING MESSAGE ABOUT PUTTING FAMILY FIRST

In the days following the tᩚraɢedy, a social media post Robinson shared in April has resurfaced, drawing widespread attention because of its deeply personal message.

Reflecting on his earlier career on Wall Street, Robinson described watching colleagues spend enormous amounts of time working in the belief that they were providing the best possible future for their families.

However, he noticed something they appeared to overlook: their loved ones wanted their presence more than the material comforts their hard work could provide.

“People my age now (45) said they were working 70, 80, 90 hours a week for their families… but all their families actually wanted was their presence,” he wrote.

He explained that some of those colleagues struggled to understand why their families resented their long working hours, even though they had beautiful homes and their children attended private schools.

Robinson said those experiences influenced the way he approached building his own businesses.

“I decided early in my startup journey that wasn’t going to be me,” he wrote.

He revealed that he and his co-founders made a conscious decision to stop working around 5 p.m. or 5:30 p.m., rather than allowing their professional responsibilities to consume their entire lives.

That meant closing their laptops, ending work-related conversations and making time to return home to their families.

He even acknowledged that he sometimes finished earlier when he wanted to spend more time with his children.

“My family life gives me energy for my work. My work gives me energy for my family life,” Robinson wrote.

The message has taken on an especially heartbreaking significance following the loss of the entire family.

WHO WERE THE OTHER VICTIMS?

The 𝔠r𝘢sh also claimed the lives of the family’s friends, Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr, as well as the children’s nanny, Anita Maria Cetina.

The two women were remembered by their loved ones as people who embraced life, valued their relationships and shared a deep bond.

Anita Maria was described as someone who cared for Emma and Charlie with extraordinary tenderness and devotion. Relatives said she had become a genuine part of the Robinson family.

The aircraft’s two pilots also died in the 𝔠r𝘢sh.

They were identified as Captain Jeff Gregory, 55, and co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20.

In a joint statement shared by relatives, the families confirmed the deaths of the seven passengers.

“Adam and Helen were devoted parents, and Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, were the light of their lives,” the statement said.

The statement also described Adam and Helen as a couple whose love and generosity had touched countless people.

“Helen and Adam were the love affair that will last forever.”

Their relatives added that their warmth and ability to make others feel welcome would never be forgotten.

The families also expressed their gratitude to emergency responders, investigators and members of the Palm Beach County community who had offered support during the tᩚraɢedy.

They extended their condolences to the families of the two pilots, who were also grieving the loss of their loved ones.

The relatives asked for privacy as they mourned, saying details of memorial services would be announced once arrangements had been made.

WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE THE PLANE CRASHED?

Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the fatal 𝔠r𝘢sh.

According to preliminary information, the Learjet 60 encountered difficult weather conditions while flying toward Florida.

Air traffic control recordings captured the crew reporting ice accumulation and significant turbulence.

The aircraft was reportedly flying at approximately 35,000 feet when the crew encountered the worsening conditions.

One of the pilots requested permission to climb another 2,000 feet. However, the situation quickly deteriorated as the aircraft began losing altitude at an alarming rate.

In radio transmissions, the crew reported an emergency and described an extremely rapid descent.

At one point, a pilot reported that the aircraft was descending at approximately 8,000 feet per minute, before later reporting a rate of around 20,000 feet per minute.

The final communications included the desperate warning: “We’re going to 𝔠r𝘢sh into the ground.”

The transmission ended shortly afterward.

The aircraft struck the ground in Greenacres, near West Palm Beach, triggering a massive fire.

INVESTIGATORS FIND EVIDENCE THAT THE AIRCRAFT MAY HAVE BROKEN APART

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is leading the investigation into the disaster, with weather conditions, aircraft performance and possible mechanical problems among the key areas being examined.

On November 2, investigators said evidence suggested the aircraft may have begun breaking apart before hitting the ground.

A subsequent investigation revealed that pieces of the aircraft’s left elevator, a component of the tail that helps control the plane’s pitch, were found several miles from the 𝔠r𝘢sh site.

Investigators have not yet determined whether the loss of those components contributed to the loss of control or occurred as a consequence of the aircraft’s extreme descent.

Severe weather, ice accumulation and turbulence are among the factors under examination. However, officials have not established an official cause.

The 𝔠r𝘢sh also affected the surrounding residential community. Approximately 600 nearby residents were displaced while emergency crews and investigators worked to secure the area and collect evidence.

One person on the ground was reported injured.

As the investigation continues, the families of the nine victims are left facing an unimaginable loss.
