Epstein Estate Faced With New Class-Action Lawsuit Over Seized Images

Two women have filed a proposed class-action lawsuit in Manhattan federal court against the co-executors of Jeffrey Epstein’s estate. The case was filed in mid-September 2026 and focuses on images of the plaintiffs from their childhood that were among materials seized by federal authorities from Epstein’s properties in 2019.

The plaintiffs are seeking financial damages, reported as at least $6 million on behalf of a proposed class of more than 40 people, with the possibility that the class could grow larger as the case proceeds. In addition to monetary relief, they are asking the court to order a coordinated process to identify and notify other individuals whose images may form part of the seized collection. They specifically request that this identification and notification effort be carried out in cooperation with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The lawsuit names as defendants the estate’s co-executors — Epstein’s former lawyer and his former accountant — acting solely in their official capacities as administrators of the estate. Jeffrey Epstein died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial . The estate has continued to face various legal claims in the years since his dєatᩚh.

The filing represents an effort by the plaintiffs to secure both compensation and a formal mechanism for contacting others who may have been affected in a similar way by the materials recovered during the federal investigation.
