Predator: Badlands is an upcoming science fiction action film in the Predator franchise, directed by Dan Trachtenberg and co-written by Patrick Aison. It is the seventh mainline film in the series and the ninth overall in the franchise.

The story follows an outcast Predator navigating an alien wasteland, while two sisters uncover their horrifying past. The film stars Elle Fanning as Thia, marking a unique shift in the franchise’s storytelling.
Production & Release

Filming took place in New Zealand under the working title Backpack and wrapped in late October 2024.

The movie is set to be theatrically released in the U.S. on November 7, 2025.

It is produced by 20th Century Studios.
