Your Highness (2011)
Your Highness is a 2011 American fantasy stoner comedy film directed by David Gordon Green. The film stars Danny McBride, James Franco, Natalie Portman, Zooey Deschanel, and Justin Theroux. Written by McBride and Ben Best, it was released on April 8, 2011.
The story follows two princes: the brave and noble Fabious (James Franco) and his lazy, foul-mouthed brother Thadeous (Danny McBride). When Fabious’s bride Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel) is kidnapped by the evil wizard Leezar (Justin Theroux), the two brothers embark on a wild and ridiculous quest to rescue her. Along the way, they encounter the fierce warrior Isabel (Natalie Portman), who joins their journey.
The movie blends elements of medieval fantasy with raunchy humor and absurd stoner comedy. While it features a strong cast and some entertaining action scenes, the film received mixed reviews due to its inconsistent tone and crude jokes. However, fans of offbeat comedies might still enjoy its over-the-top characters and intentionally silly style.
