Fallout Season 2

Season 2 of the hit Amazon Prime Video series Fallout is set to premiere in December 2025. Filming wrapped in May 2025, confirming the show remains on schedule. The story picks up immediately after the dramatic ending of Season 1, following Lucy MacLean (played by Ella Purnell) as she journeys across the wasteland with The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), determined to find her father, Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan), who has escaped in Brotherhood power armor toward the infamous region of New Vegas.

As they travel deeper into the Mojave Wasteland, the duo will likely encounter iconic Fallout factions such as the Brotherhood of Steel, the New California Republic, and fearsome mutated creatures like Deathclaws. Vault-Tec’s dark legacy continues to unfold, especially regarding the mysteries of Vault 31, the secret behind cold fusion technology, and their potential role in triggering the nuclear apocalypse itself.

Returning cast members include Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten (as Maximus), Moisés Arias (as Norm), and Kyle MacLachlan. A major new addition is Macaulay Culkin, who will play a strange and possibly dangerous genius whose full role is still under wraps.

Season 2 promises to deepen the rich lore of the Fallout universe with a blend of practical sets, vivid special effects, and darker, more emotional storytelling. Expect a mix of nostalgia, danger, and mystery as the series shifts its focus to New Vegas—one of the most iconic locations in the Fallout video game franchise.

Season 3 has already been greenlit, demonstrating Amazon’s strong confidence in the show’s future. With more action, more secrets, and new characters, Fallout Season 2 looks to expand its world while delivering everything fans loved from the first season—and more.
