A Mr Olympia judge has accidentally killed his six-year-old son by backing his Tesla Cybertruck into him outside their California home.

Terrick El Guindy, 48, from Temecula, struck Preston just before 9pm on Saturday in Brookhaven Court, near Highway 79.

The family quickly called 911 and the boy was rushed to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, but died the same night of his injuries.

A heartbreaking GoFundMe set up by family friend Stefanie Chesbro said: “On Saturday night our sweet Preston was playing outside in his neighborhood and was accidentally struck by a moving vehicle.

“His injuries were too great and Preston tragically passed away at the hospital with Mom by his side. His parents and sister, Scarlett, are left with the insurmountable tᩚraɢedy that is losing their son and brother.”

She added: “To know Preston is to love him. Always with a smile on his face he brings joy to everyone in his life.”

El Guindy (center) worked as a judge for the world-famous Mr. Olympia competition, tasked with deciding which bodybuilders (left, multiple world champion Chris Bumstead) are the best on earth.

El Guindy was questioned about the collision, but was not arrested. A CHP spokesman said the vehicle was not operating in autopilot mode and offered their condolences to the family.

They said: “The CHP extends its condolences to the family and all those affected by this tragic loss.” It’s unclear if any dashboard alerts notified El Guindy of his son’s presence behind the truck.

The family said in a social media post that Preston had just started 1st grade last month.

El Guindy worked as a judge for the world-famous Mr. Olympia competition, tasked with deciding which bodybuilders are the best on earth.

He also throws hot takes and shares opinions on the bodybuilding industry as the host of Prime Time Muscle and Olympia TV.

He once compared six-time Mr. Olympia winner Chris Bumstead to legend Arnold Schwarzenegger, crediting him for revitalizing the sport.

“Chris Bumstead has exploded the sport. Chris Bumstead has been a great, great role model for all of us. His journey is impeccable and we will remember him just like we remember Arnold Schwarzenegger,” he said after Bumstead’s 2024 retirement.

The California Highway Police is investigating the incident.
