The Ohio “House of Horrors” case has taken another disturbing turn after claims began circulating about one of the 16 children allegedly returning to the property and attempting to uncover a metal box hidden beneath the floorboards.
The claim has added another layer of mystery to an already deeply troubling case, where authorities say 16 children were discovered living in unsafe and deplorable conditions inside a Hamden property in Vinton County.
According to authorities, the children were discovered after law enforcement executed a search warrant at the home on June 30. The investigation quickly expanded, with four adults arrested and initially facing multiple counts of child endangerment.
