A 35-year-old bull rider has died after a terrifying incident at a rodeo in Ohio, where he suffered a fatal chest injury after being kicked or stepped on by a bull, authorities said.
Jason Blake Saylor was injured during a Saturday evening rodeo at Fox Hollow Stables in Warren County, Ohio, on October 24, 2026. Emergency crews were called to the venue at approximately 7:40 p.m. after receiving reports of an injured rider.
According to Clearcreek Township police, Saylor sustained a traumatic chest injury when the bull either kicked him or stepped on him. He was wearing protective chest gear at the time, but the equipment could not prevent the severe injuries.
Saylor was treated at the scene before being transported to Atrium Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The tᩚraɢedy prompted an emotional response from Fox Hollow Rodeo, which expressed heartbreak over the loss of one of its riders and extended condolences to his family, friends and everyone affected by the incident. The organization also asked the public to respect the privacy of his loved ones as they grieve.
Police are investigating the dєatᩚh as an accident. Authorities have asked anyone with cellphone footage, recordings or information about the incident to contact investigators.

Saylor’s dєatᩚh is a sobering reminder of the dangers bull riders face in a sport where even experienced competitors wearing protective equipment can suffer devastating injuries in seconds.
