ENTIRE FAMILY OF FOUR KILLED IN FLORIDA PLANE 𝔠r𝘢sh: TWO YOUNG CHILDREN, AGED 4 AND 2, AMONG NINE VICTIMS
Texas technology entrepreneur Adam Robinson, his wife Helen Sharp and their two young children were traveling to the Bahamas for what should have been a family trip. Instead, their journey ended in a devastating plane 𝔠r𝘢sh that claimed all nine lives aboard.
A family of four was among nine people killed when a private jet crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, leaving loved ones struggling to comprehend a tᩚraɢedy that claimed the lives of two very young children.
Adam Robinson, 45, was traveling with his wife, Helen Sharp, and their children, Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, aboard a Learjet 60 that departed Austin, Texas, on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
The family was heading to the Bahamas, a trip that was supposed to be an opportunity to spend time together away from their everyday responsibilities.
But they never reached their destination.
The aircraft crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, approximately 10 minutes after the final messages from the cockpit indicated that the crew was experiencing difficult conditions.
All nine people aboard were killed.
Among them were Adam, Helen and their two children, whose young lives were cut short before they had the chance to grow up.
A FAMILY TRIP THAT NEVER REACHED ITS DESTINATION
Adam Robinson was a technology entrepreneur from Texas.
At 45, he had built a professional life while raising a young family with Helen.
The couple’s world revolved around their two children, Emma and Charlie.
Emma was just four years old, while her younger brother Charlie was only two.
They were at ages when everyday experiences could become exciting adventures — family outings, new places and time spent with the people they loved.
The flight to the Bahamas was meant to be another family journey.
Instead, the aircraft went down in Florida, leaving relatives and friends facing the loss of an entire family.
The fact that both children were aboard has made the tᩚraɢedy particularly difficult for those following the story.
Four members of one household were lost in a single incident.
ANITA MARIA CETINA WAS ALSO ON BOARD
Another person aboard the aircraft was Anita Maria Cetina, who helped care for the Robinson family’s young children.
She was traveling with the family when the Learjet crashed.
Her dєatᩚh added another devastating loss for those connected to the family.
The aircraft also carried two pilots and other passengers, bringing the total number of people aboard to nine.
None survived.
The victims included:
- Adam Robinson, 45
- Helen Sharp
- Emma Robinson, 4
- Charlie Robinson, 2
- Anita Maria Cetina
- Pilot Jeff Gregory, 55
- Co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20
- Two additional passengers
The loss of the children, their parents and the person who helped care for them has left multiple families and communities grieving.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LEARJET 60?
The private aircraft departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas, heading toward the Bahamas.
During the flight, the crew communicated with air traffic control about weather conditions, including turbulence, icing and precipitation.
The pilots discussed the conditions and requested a higher altitude in an effort to find a smoother flight path.
However, the situation deteriorated rapidly.
Radio communications captured the crew reporting an emergency as the aircraft began descending at an alarming rate.
The aircraft eventually crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida.
The impact produced a massive fireball and prompted an emergency response from local authorities.
Residents in the surrounding area were evacuated while emergency crews secured the scene.
Authorities reported no fatalities on the ground.
THE TWO PILOTS’ FINAL MOMENTS
The tᩚraɢedy also claimed the lives of the two pilots operating the aircraft.
Jeff Gregory, 55, was identified as the captain.
His family and friends remembered him as a devoted husband, father of three and lifelong Christian.
During the aircraft’s final communications, a man’s voice could reportedly be heard reciting the Lord’s Prayer.
The voice has been attributed to Gregory in media accounts, although investigators have not independently confirmed the speaker’s identity.
The co-pilot, Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, was only 20 years old.
She had earned her private pilot’s license at 17 and had accumulated approximately 1,300 flight hours.
In one of the most heartbreaking details surrounding the 𝔠r𝘢sh, Nathalia had reportedly sent her boyfriend a text message about turbulence and ice approximately 10 minutes before the aircraft went down.
Her message was brief:
“I’ve got turbulence, I’ve got ice.”
Her family later shared the message as they mourned the young woman who had worked so hard to pursue her aviation dream.
INVESTIGATION INTO THE tᩚraɢedy CONTINUES
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Investigators are examining the aircraft’s flight data, weather conditions, maintenance records and communications with air traffic control.
The reports of icing and turbulence are among the factors being considered.
However, authorities have not yet established the definitive cause of the 𝔠r𝘢sh.
The investigation will be essential in understanding what happened during the aircraft’s final minutes and whether any technical or environmental factors contributed to the disaster.
NINE LIVES, COUNTLESS PEOPLE LEFT BEHIND
For the Robinson family’s relatives and friends, the investigation cannot change the reality of what happened.
Adam and Helen will not return home.
Emma and Charlie will never have the opportunity to celebrate another birthday, begin another school year or experience the many milestones that awaited them.
Anita Maria Cetina and the other victims also leave behind people who loved them and will feel their absence.
A flight that was supposed to take a family toward a holiday in the Bahamas instead became a tᩚraɢedy that affected several families forever.
As investigators continue searching for answers, loved ones are left holding on to photographs, memories and the moments they shared with those who never made it home.
May all nine victims rest in peace, and may their families find strength during this heartbreaking time.
