But their departure would leave her facing the responsibility of running the six-acre property largely on her own.

“The dream of it has been everything I wanted it to be but the reality is really hard,” she admitted.

Speaking about the possibility of downsizing and beginning a different life, she explained that meeting Ryan gave her someone special to share the adventure with.

“I met Ryan then it was like okay if I’m going to downsize, I’ve got someone wonderful to do that with and start a whole new adventure of life with someone new,” she said.

Her comments suggest that while her relationship has influenced her plans for the future, it was not the only factor behind the difficult decision to sell the farm.
