AMANDA AND CLIVE OWEN HAVE MORE REASONS TO CELEBRATE AS MORE4 CONFIRMS TWO MORE SERIES – AND THEIR DAUGHTERS ARE SET FOR A SPECIAL NEW CHAPTER!

The Owen family’s story is far from over! Amanda and Clive Owen are returning to television after More4 officially commissioned two additional series of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids. And this time, viewers can expect even more family projects, farming adventures and exciting developments at Anty John’s.

Fans of Amanda and Clive Owen have received some wonderful news: their much-loved family programme, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, has been renewed for not one, but two more series.

The announcement, confirmed on November 2, 2026, means the cameras will continue following the Owen family as they balance everyday life on their Yorkshire Dales farm with their ambitious renovation of the historic farmhouse known as Anty John’s.

The new commission includes ten hour-long episodes, divided into two five-episode series. Both will be produced by Leeds-based Wise Owl Films for More4.

The renewal comes after the programme established itself as More4’s highest-rated show for three consecutive years, demonstrating just how much viewers have embraced the family’s honest, sometimes chaotic, but always fascinating way of life.

One of the most exciting details about the new series is that all eleven members of the Owen family will remain part of the story.

Amanda and Clive, together with their nine children, have become familiar faces to audiences who have followed their journey through the changing seasons of farming life.

Although Amanda and Clive announced their separation in 2022, they have continued to work together as parents and remain involved in their family’s farming life.

Their television journey has also evolved. What began as a story about bringing an old farmhouse back to life has gradually become a much broader look at family relationships, responsibility, growing independence and the future of a traditional farming family.

And there is plenty more to come.

At the heart of the programme is Anty John’s, the old farmhouse that Amanda and Clive have been working tirelessly to restore.

The property was once a neglected building, but over the course of the previous series, viewers have watched it gradually transform.

From structural repairs and plastering to painting walls and making the interior more comfortable, each stage has brought the family closer to their goal of turning the building into a proper home.

The renovation has not always been straightforward. Unexpected challenges, practical setbacks and the demands of everyday farm life have meant progress has often been slower than anyone might have hoped.

However, that gradual transformation is part of what makes the programme so appealing.

In the upcoming episodes, Amanda will continue exploring the history of Anty John’s, including the story of one of its former owners, Anthony Clarkson, a 19th-century Swaledale mapmaker.

His historical diary provides fascinating glimpses into life in the area almost 200 years ago, creating unexpected connections between the past and the present.

THE OWEN SISTERS ARE TAKING ON A NEW FAMILY PROJECT

While the farmhouse renovation remains a major part of the programme, the new series will also shine a spotlight on the next generation of the Owen family.

One particularly exciting development involves Edith, Violet and their sisters, who will be opening a cream tea van at Ravenseat.

The project gives the girls an opportunity to take on new responsibilities and develop something of their own while remaining closely connected to the family farm.

For viewers who have watched the children grow up surrounded by livestock, demanding farm routines and the beautiful but challenging Yorkshire countryside, seeing them take on a new venture promises to be a particularly special part of the upcoming episodes.

Meanwhile, Sid and Miles will continue taking on more of the day-to-day farming responsibilities.

As the family members gradually find their own roles, the programme will explore how different generations contribute to keeping the farm running.

It is another reminder that life at Ravenseat is about much more than renovation work.

MORE FARMING, MORE FAMILY LIFE AND MORE SURPRISES

The fifth series will pick up after Amanda and the girls’ first overnight stay at Anty John’s, marking another important moment in the property’s transformation.

The story will follow the Owens from early summer 2026 through to spring 2027, with the changing seasons providing the backdrop to their everyday adventures.

Viewers can expect the familiar combination of unpredictable farming conditions, family responsibilities, renovation challenges and moments of humour.

The production team has also highlighted the importance of the family’s farming calendar and the subject of succession on the farm.

These themes give the series a deeper dimension, showing how traditional farming life continues to evolve as the children grow older and begin taking on greater responsibilities.

WHY MORE4 IS SO HAPPY TO BRING THE FAMILY BACK

Jayne Stanger, Senior Commissioning Editor for Lifestyle at Channel 4, expressed her delight at continuing the relationship with the Owen family and production company Wise Owl Films.

She described Our Farm Next Door as a programme that holds a special place in the hearts of More4 viewers.

She also joked that she is looking forward to discovering whether Anty John’s might ever finally be completed.

James Knight, Creative Director at Wise Owl Films, explained that the programme stands apart from conventional renovation shows.

He highlighted the combination of family life, farming traditions, the history of Anty John’s and the gradual process of restoring the property.

He also noted that Amanda has never watched a renovation programme on television, something that perhaps helps explain the show’s distinctive and unpredictable approach.

Although life on the farm can sometimes look chaotic, the production team is delighted that audiences have found comfort and enjoyment in following the family.

WHEN WILL THE NEW SERIES AIR?

More4 has officially confirmed the fifth and sixth series, with ten new hour-long episodes planned in total.

The fifth series will cover the family’s activities from early summer 2026 through to spring 2027. However, the broadcaster has not yet announced the exact transmission dates for either new series.

For now, fans can look forward to more of Amanda, Clive and their nine children as the story of Anty John’s continues.

One thing is certain: the Owen family’s journey is far from finished, and there are still plenty of chapters waiting to unfold at Ravenseat.
