On February 10, the FBI released footage recovered from Nancy’s front-door security camera.

The recordings showed a masked individual approaching the entrance and attempting to obstruct the camera.

Investigators previously reported that the doorbell camera was disconnected at approximately 1:47 a.m. Another camera registered activity around 2:12 a.m.

However, the publicly released recordings did not show Nancy herself being taken from the residence.

Comments attributed to Sheriff Nanos during an October 9 interview have prompted questions about whether investigators possess recordings that have never been publicly released.

However, the exact wording and context of that interview have not been independently verified.

Earlier reporting established that multiple cameras were installed around Nancy’s property. Investigators also recovered additional images from cameras positioned near the front entrance, driveway, and backyard.

Those images reportedly depicted activity before her disappearance, but authorities did not announce the recovery of new video showing what happened inside the residence.

On October 30, Sheriff Nanos provided another investigative update, confirming that authorities were continuing forensic analysis with laboratories in several locations.
