Three elderly people were found dead in a bloody scene at a New Jersey home after a postal worker discovered a chilling note on the front door, according to authorities.

The three bodies were tragically discovered at a home in Mount Holly on Friday, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office announced in a Facebook post.

A postal worker called cops after finding a note on the front door indicating that 911 should be called, according to prosecutors.

The disturbing note, which was heavily taped to the door, read “9-1-1 Inside” with horrifying drawings of two unhappy faces with ‘X’s for eyes, photos showed.

One neighbor told The Post that cops said the bodies were found amidst a significant amount of blood.

“I understand that an incident of this nature is deeply concerning to our community. As your Chief of Police, I want to assure you that the safety and security of our residents remain my highest priority,” Mount Holly Police Chief Clifford Spencer said in a statement posted to Facebook.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this tragic incident,” he stated.

Authorities stated that there is no threat or danger to the public in connection with the incident.

The victims remain unidentified until next of kin are notified and the cause of dєatᩚh is still unknown – but autopsies are set to be performed this weekend by the Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Neighbor David Babcock told NBC10 that two brothers and a sister, all believed to be in their 60s, lived at the home. It is unclear whether they are the victims.

“They were very nice, they didn’t bother anybody,” Babcock said.

One neighbor confirmed to The Post that she only ever saw one male resident entering or leaving the home.

“As far as I knew, I would’ve guessed that he was the only one living there,” the local told The Post anonymously.

The incident is currently under investigation by the prosecutor’s office and the Mount Holly Township Police Department.

The Mount Holly Township Police Department said it could not comment further.
