Alexander Brothers’ Family Pleads for Leniency as Sentencing Looms in 𝘴єx-Trafficking Case

The family of three convicted Alexander brothers has appealed to a federal judge for mercy, arguing that their sons are devoted husbands and fathers who deserve the chance to return to their children, despite the serious crimes for which they were found guilty.

In letters submitted ahead of their October 27, 2026, sentencing, parents Orly and Shlomi Alexander asked the court to consider their sons’ lives beyond the courtroom. They highlighted the brothers’ family responsibilities, professional achievements and volunteer work when they were younger, while acknowledging that they could not undo the harm at the center of the case.

The brothers, Oren and Alon Alexander, both 39, and their older brother Tal, 40, were convicted in March of federal 𝘴єx-trafficking and related offenses. Prosecutors said they used their wealth, connections and access to luxury properties and trips to lure women into situations where they were drugged and sexually assaulted. At least 70 women were identified by investigators as having reported rαp̰̃є or 𝘴єxual assault, and 11 women testified during the trial.

Prosecutors have asked U.S. District Judge Valerie Caproni to impose life sentences, describing the offenses as exceptionally serious and arguing that the punishment should reflect the number of victims and the prolonged pattern of 𝘢bu𝘴e. Federal probation officials recommended sentences totaling 195 years for Oren and 180 years each for Alon and Tal.

The defense has requested the statutory minimum of 15 years for each brother. Their attorneys have maintained that the men are innocent despite the jury’s verdict and intend to challenge the convictions on appeal.

Letters from the brothers’ wives also described the personal consequences of their arrests. Alon’s wife, Israeli model Shani Zigron, portrayed him as an involved father to their two young daughters. Oren’s wife, Brazilian model Kamila, described the emotional and practical difficulties she faced after his arrest while she was pregnant with their child.

A letter from the brothers’ eldest brother, Niv, reportedly focused on their professional success and asked the judge to impose the lowest possible sentences.

The family’s appeals stand in sharp contrast to accounts presented by women who testified at trial. Their statements described alleged assaults that prosecutors said were part of a long-running pattern of 𝘴єxual exploitation.

The brothers are scheduled to be sentenced in federal court in Manhattan on October 27. The judge will determine their prison terms after considering the prosecution’s recommendations, the defense arguments and statements from victims. Until the court announces its decision, the final sentences remain uncertain.
