The teenager’s disappearance sparked concern after his pickup truck was discovered abandoned nearly 450 miles from home in Atlanta, Georgia.

A 16-year-old Florida boy who disappeared after leaving the St. Cloud area has been found safe in Nebraska, bringing a reassuring end to a search that stretched across multiple states.

Levi James Conner was located in Springfield, Nebraska, near Omaha, on Tuesday morning, October 27, according to reports citing the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities said he was found in good health.

TRUCK FOUND ABANDONED IN ATLANTA

Conner was reported missing after leaving the St. Cloud area of Florida on or before October 23.

Concern grew when his gray 2019 Ford F-150 was discovered unoccupied near Lakewood Avenue and Lakewood Raceway in Atlanta, Georgia, at approximately 7:05 p.m. that day. The location was around 450 miles from the area where he was last known to be. <

Investigators with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office later said they believed Conner had left the truck and boarded a Greyhound bus heading north to Nebraska.

On October 26, detectives said they believed he was in Ralston, Nebraska, and contacted local law enforcement to help locate him. <

TEENAGER FOUND IN GOOD HEALTH

The search ended with the news that Conner had been located in Springfield, Nebraska, and was in good health, according to the sheriff’s office update reported by local media.

Authorities have not publicly explained why Conner left Florida or released further details about how he was found.
