Financial questions have emerged in the investigation into the Great Wolf Lodge tᩚraɢedy in Pennsylvania, where Metallica Rose Harrison, 27, has been charged with two counts of criminal homicide following the deaths of her husband, Charles Harrison, and their three-year-old son in October 2026.
According to reports citing Harrison’s stepmother, the family used money from Charles’s 401(k) retirement savings to help pay for an extended stay at the resort and a kitchen renovation. Relatives reportedly found the financial decision unusual, particularly as the family also faced unpaid household bills. However, investigators have not publicly confirmed that a specific last-minute bank withdrawal was connected to the incident.
Police searched the family’s home in Towanda and seized financial records, a financial notebook, journals, a laptop, and other items as part of their investigation.
