REVIEW OF FACILITY FINDS NO VIOLATIONS

According to an October 22 report by Page Six, California’s Department of Health Care Services reviewed Resolutions Living after a complaint raised questions about the circumstances of Gerber’s admission and whether the facility had provided services requiring a state license.

The complaint followed media reports about Gerber’s condition when he arrived at the residence on September 19, one day before his dєatᩚh.

The department reportedly found no evidence of unlicensed substance-use treatment or other activities requiring a license. It concluded that the allegations were unsubstantiated and closed the review. The finding concerned the facility’s licensing and activities; it did not determine the cause of Gerber’s dєatᩚh.

CAUSE OF dєatᩚh HAS NOT BEEN DETERMINED

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner said on September 21 that the cause and manner of Gerber’s dєatᩚh had been deferred pending additional testing or studies.

Santa Monica police have described the dєatᩚh as a suspected overdose and said there was no indication of foul play, according to reports. However, a suspected overdose is not a confirmed medical finding, and the medical examiner’s published statement did not establish a final cause of dєatᩚh.

HIS FAMILY SHARES AN EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE

In October, Crawford, Rande Gerber and their daughter, Kaia, publicly expressed their grief for the first time since Presley’s dєatᩚh.

In a family statement, they described him as a “sweet, beautiful soul” who was loved deeply and said they were grateful for the support they had received from friends and strangers.

Kaia also shared a personal tribute to her older brother, reflecting on their lifelong bond and the difficulty of learning to live without being able to call or reach him.
