Born into poverty and without lower limbs, little Abu Al-Hassan faced challenges from the very beginning of his life. But behind his difficult circumstances was a determined little boy with dreams of his own — and a father who refused to let hardship define his future.
After Abu’s mother left, his father took on the responsibility of raising him alone. Life was far from easy, with financial struggles adding to the challenges of caring for a child with complex needs. Yet, through every difficult day, his father continued to stand by his side, determined to give his son the best life possible.

While other children ran outside, played games, and explored the world on their own two feet, Abu often watched from the doorway, longing to experience the same freedom. There were obstacles that many children his age would never have to think about, but Abu refused to let them take away his curiosity or his dreams.
He found happiness in drawing, remained committed to his education, and worked hard at school. Above all, he wanted to make his father proud — the man who had stayed beside him through every struggle.

For his father, watching Abu grow up meant learning to be strong even on the hardest days.
“Sometimes, I wished I could make every difficulty disappear for him,” his father might say. “But I want him to know that his circumstances do not determine how far he can go. I will always do everything I can to help him build a future.”

Then came a moment that would change how Abu saw the world — and how the world saw him.
Abu stood up for the first time.

After a lifetime of looking up at the people around him, he was finally able to experience the world from a different perspective. What might seem like an ordinary moment to others became an extraordinary milestone in his journey.
It represented more than simply standing. It was a symbol of possibility, perseverance, and the determination to keep moving forward despite the obstacles life had placed before him.

His journey reflects the powerful combination of medical support, human resilience, and a family’s unwavering love. Although challenges remain, every step forward offers new possibilities for the future.
For Abu, the road ahead may not always be easy. But the little boy who once watched other children play from a doorway has already shown that his dreams are bigger than the limitations he faces.

And for the father who never stopped believing in his son, seeing Abu reach this milestone must mean more than words can express.
